Sheree + Darrell 4.25.2010

After much of the south was swept by hail, rain and tornados, the clouds broke on Sunday providing gorgeous weather for the wedding of Sheree and Darrell. After getting engaged in Paris, the gardens provided the perfect backdrop for their Monet inspired wedding. Photographer, Hilarye Schoyt from Fotographa, was on hand to capture all of the intricate details and joyous aurora that truly radiates from this couple.

Sheree and Darrell held their ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner down in the gardens.
Glorious Events provided an amazing French inspired meal and dessert buffet that surely looked just as appetizing as it tasted!

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we wish you all the best Sheree and Darrell!

Here are some fabulous shots taken by Hilarye from Fotographa:

Casey + Jeffery 10.17.2009

Casey and Jeffery mid-October wedding went exactly as planned! As the couple finished their ceremony and began taking pictures, their guest moved under the tent for cocktails and then to the reception in The Atrium. The beautiful greens and light pinks of their wedding blended perfectly, giving a natural and charming look that we love to see in the gardens. Erin Rene Photography was there to capture some amazing shots of Casey and Jeffery’s wedding. The pictures, along with everything else, turned out perfectly! Casey and Jeffery, we wish you two the best! Congratulations!

Kalai + Neal 10.3.2009

As you can tell from the photographs below, Kalai and Neal’s wedding was truly one of a kind. Everyone joined in for the baraat, an Indian marriage procession where the groom is greeted by the bride and her family. It was so invigorating to experience all of the traditional Indian customs in the gardens! The couple worked with Steve Bales from Bold American in an attempt to create a setting that made guests feel as if they were stepping in to another culture, and with the fully decorated horse, the authentic food, and all of the beautiful décor, their goal was easily accomplished. Kalai and Neal’s wedding was unlike any other we have experienced in the gardens and we had an amazing time working with them. Their wedding was definitely a celebration to remember! Congratulations, Kalai and Neal! Thank you for sharing your special day with us!

We hope you enjoy these images taken by 6 of Four. They did a fantastic job capturing all of the wonderful colors and moments of this wedding!

Cara + Mike 9.4.2009

Cara and Mike paid attention to all of the details when planning their wedding, and as you can see from the images below, it turned out absolutely beautiful! It was a lovely day in the gardens, which was a perfect complement to this couples completely open-air wedding! As the guest traveled from the Colonnade for the ceremony to the East Lawn for cocktail hour and then to the reception in the Court, they were able to enjoy everything the day had to offer! Sun In My Belly, who catered many of our 2009 weddings, also did the catering for Cara and Mike’s wedding. They are so talented at figuring out what each couple is looking for and know how to add an element of fun to their cuisine! We absolutely love working with Sun In My Belly! Please take a moment to enjoy some of the photographs from this wedding. The Long Farewell did an amazing job capturing some of the fabulous moments, as well as the creative details of Cara and Mike’s wedding!
