Casey + Jeffery 10.17.2009

Casey and Jeffery mid-October wedding went exactly as planned! As the couple finished their ceremony and began taking pictures, their guest moved under the tent for cocktails and then to the reception in The Atrium. The beautiful greens and light pinks of their wedding blended perfectly, giving a natural and charming look that we love to see in the gardens. Erin Rene Photography was there to capture some amazing shots of Casey and Jeffery’s wedding. The pictures, along with everything else, turned out perfectly! Casey and Jeffery, we wish you two the best! Congratulations!

Kalai + Neal 10.3.2009

As you can tell from the photographs below, Kalai and Neal’s wedding was truly one of a kind. Everyone joined in for the baraat, an Indian marriage procession where the groom is greeted by the bride and her family. It was so invigorating to experience all of the traditional Indian customs in the gardens! The couple worked with Steve Bales from Bold American in an attempt to create a setting that made guests feel as if they were stepping in to another culture, and with the fully decorated horse, the authentic food, and all of the beautiful décor, their goal was easily accomplished. Kalai and Neal’s wedding was unlike any other we have experienced in the gardens and we had an amazing time working with them. Their wedding was definitely a celebration to remember! Congratulations, Kalai and Neal! Thank you for sharing your special day with us!

We hope you enjoy these images taken by 6 of Four. They did a fantastic job capturing all of the wonderful colors and moments of this wedding!

Cara + Mike 9.4.2009

Cara and Mike paid attention to all of the details when planning their wedding, and as you can see from the images below, it turned out absolutely beautiful! It was a lovely day in the gardens, which was a perfect complement to this couples completely open-air wedding! As the guest traveled from the Colonnade for the ceremony to the East Lawn for cocktail hour and then to the reception in the Court, they were able to enjoy everything the day had to offer! Sun In My Belly, who catered many of our 2009 weddings, also did the catering for Cara and Mike’s wedding. They are so talented at figuring out what each couple is looking for and know how to add an element of fun to their cuisine! We absolutely love working with Sun In My Belly! Please take a moment to enjoy some of the photographs from this wedding. The Long Farewell did an amazing job capturing some of the fabulous moments, as well as the creative details of Cara and Mike’s wedding!

Jenny + Gabriel 11.7.2009

Jenny and Gabriel’s wedding was the last wedding of the 2009 season and we could not think of a more perfect couple to end our season! It may have been a little chilly, but as you can tell by the pictures taken by photographer, Amy Hoga, they had an absolute blast! Affairs to Remember helped bring their vision to life and incorporated the greenery in the gardens all the way up to the reception in The Atrium. The organic feel of the Atrium, combined with the greenery and calla lilies, created the perfect backdrop for the reception! Congratulations, Jenny and Gabriel! We wish you all the best!

Cher + Rick 9.20.2009

Cher and Rick also got married on the same the same rainy weekend! However, with the help of sharing a tent with Chanda (our bride the day before) for their reception and the Gardens tent for the ceremony, they were able to beat out the storms and have their ceremony and reception in the gardens. As the couple finished their ceremony under our tent, they traveled just a few steps to the rented tent for dinner, dancing, and dessert. The extraordinary cake done by Southern Sweets, featured in photos below, looked absolutely delicious and the cake stand was so eco-fabulous! Be sure to check out all of the photos taken by Heidi from Our Labor Of Love. She did an excellent job showcasing the artistic elegance of this wedding. It was such a fun day in the gardens! Congrats Cher and Rick!
