At the end of March, The Frazer Center hosted an art exhibit featuring the very talented, Jill Steenhuis. The adults of The Frazer Center played a intrical part in making this show happen including helping with the invitations. In appreciation, Jill gave a fantastic art class to the adults and hopes to partner with them for her future shows! Below are several images of the event! Nestled on 33 acres of mature hardwoods, the Cator Woolford Gardens are situated on one of the few remaining intact historic estates in Metropolitan Atlanta and are located just a few miles from the heart of downtown.
The Gardens were originally created for Cator Woolford, one of the principle founders of Retail Credit (now Equifax Credit Services) and were redesigned in 1996 as a series of outdoor “rooms.” Changing with the seasons, the gardens and forest are filled with dogwoods, roses, narcissi, rhododendrons, laurel, daffodils and azaleas, some of which are original to the estate.
Your guests will easily imagine themselves in a time gone by in this unique Southern oasis so convenient to the heart of the city. The Italian-styled pavilion offers more than 700 square feet of indoor space accompanied by an elegant 30’ x 40’ white tent, creating a truly enchanting and unique setting for any event – corporate retreat, conference, fundraiser, movie shoot or wedding. With a 3,000 square foot vaulted ceiling, floor to ceiling windowed venue also available as part of the gardens rental, only your imagination limits the type of event the gardens can accommodate.
