Caroline + Travis 5.30.09

Caroline and Travis picked a beautiful day to tie the knot! And what a beautiful wedding it was! They held their ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner down in the gardens and then had trolleys pick up their friends and families to take them to the Atrium for cake and dancing. Everyone had a blast! New Chairs for the Atrium!

As many of you knew, the 200 chairs we had in the Atrium looked a little sad :( They were the original set of chairs used in the Gardens years ago and then made their way to the Atrium after we purchased new chairs for the Gardens. Well, its out with the old and in with the new! On Monday we received 200 brand new white wooden folding chairs that are beautiful and ready to be sat upon!

Adult Horticulture Therapy Program

While the Garden is a beautiful venue for special events, it is also used as a learning lab for some very special adults at the Frazer Center through the Horticultural Therapy Program which was established 4 years ago through a very generous grant.Through the Horticultural Therapy Program, our adults have learned many skills and have grown to love gardening! One of the recent projects undertaken through the program was a day of planting to spruce up the gardens for both the adults to enjoy as well as our brides! Here are some pictures of our fun-filled day!

Rachel + Asad 5.15.2009

Congrats Rachel and Asad! These two used the gardens for their ceremony. It was a beautiful day right up until Rachel was about to walk down the isle. It then started to lightly rain, so all the guests then gathered under the tent and we waited. Just as we were about to move the ceremony to the tent, blue skies appeared again! We sent Rachel down the isle and the ceremony was perfect! It was amazing timing because as soon as Rachel and Asad got in the car and left the gardens, the skies opened up and it just dumped rain! We wish them all the best here at the gardens.Thanks so much to Climie + Co for the pictures! They are amazing images. Enjoy!

Tram + Danny 4.25.09

Tram and Danny were such a fun couple to work with. Over the time we worked together, it was great to see all of their friends and family come together to throw an amazing party! You could just see all the love poured into this wedding. We wish them all the best here at the Gardens! Below are some pics of Tram and Danny's big day taken by Kevin W. Nye Photography.

Robyn + Chanse 4.2.2009

Chanse and Robyn started our wedding season off with a bang on April 4th! They are a great couple and we wish them all the best. Here are some pictures of their beautiful wedding taken by the fabulous Orpheus and Aphrodite Photography:

Robyn and Chanse had their grand entrance accompanied by these huge skeleton puppets. It was quite an entrance and something we have never seen before here at the gardens.
